On 16th June 2025, Ramakrishna Mission Jammu celebrated a momentous occasion with the inauguration of Project Drishti—a major healthcare initiative aimed at enhancing the Mission’s medical services. The project includes the construction of a dedicated ramp and a modern operation theatre for cataract surgeries, along with significant upgrades to the Physiotherapy Department at the Mission’s Medical Centre.
The function was graced by Revered Swami Bodhasarananda Ji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Other esteemed guests included Swami Sarvalokananda Ji Maharaj, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission New Delhi, Swami Bhitiharananda Ji, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Chandigarh, Swami Anamananda Ji, Sri Ram Swaroop Ji, Executive Director, Jammu Region, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation, and Sri Sunil K. Thusu Ji, Chairman, Kashmiri Medical Emergency and Charitable Trust.
The event was attended by nearly 150 devotees, volunteers, and well-wishers, who gathered at the Medical Centre and the auditorium to witness and celebrate this significant step forward in service to humanity.
These infrastructural enhancements have greatly strengthened the capabilities of our Medical Centre, enabling it to serve patients with improved accessibility and advanced treatment facilities. We pray to the Holy Trio and seek the blessings of all monastic members for the continued success and effectiveness of this noble initiative.
