  • Shrine and Prayer Hall: To provide a spiritual ambience to aspirants for self development through prayer and meditation.
  • Puja & Celebrations and Lectures & Discourses: Daily Puja & Arti, Bhajans and readings from sacred books are regularly conducted.
  • Ramnam Sankirtan: is conducted on every Ekadashi day. Sunday lectures and other special discourses by invited Swamis from outside Jammu are occasionally arranged.
  • Book Centre: To propagate religious and philosophical ideals and ideas of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda and of Vedanta through books in Hindi and English. A few books in Dogri and Urdu are also available.
  • Pilgrims’ Guest House: To accommodate pilgrims proceeding towards Mata Vaishno Devi, the Holy Cave of Lord Amarnath & other places of pilgrimage.
  • Bal Vikas Kendra: A Sunday School, for giving social and moral education to 25/30 children.
  • Welfare Activities:
    • Children’s Welfare: 50 small children come to ashrama and are served with food three days in a week.
    • Female Students’ Welfare: 8 female students studying from HS to PG are helped with scholarship of Rs. 500/- for each student per month.
    • Women’s Welfare:
      • A) 30 poor widows are given 10 kg of rice and Rs. 50/- in cash each for every month.
      • B) 10 sewing machines are distributed with which poor ladies are trained with tailoring.
  • Free Coaching Centre: To provide more than 40 school children with coaching.
  • Medical Centre: To serve the poor and needy patients of Jammu (50 patients daily on average), mainly from rural areas through the following departments:
    • Multi-specialty Clinical Consultation by renowned doctors
    • Well-equipped Diagnostic Laboratory
    • X-Ray and Ultrasound Departments
    • Fully Equipped Physiotherapy Unit
    • Mobile Medical Service – two days a week
    • Dental Care
    • Modern Eye Clinic
  • Relief & Rehabilitation Works:

Relief and rehabilitation activities whenever situation demands are undertaken. In the wake of flash floods last year, the Mission undertook a massive relief operation in Rajouri, Reasi, Poonch, Udhampur and Jammu districts from September 2014 to January 2015. Relief materials like food items, winter clothings and building materials were distributed among 2890 families belonging to 265 villages.
